Bio

Dave Pettitt began his voiceover career like many, in the radio industry. Voice tracking overnights, quickly became hosting the Drive Home show and a year later hosting the morning show on a new station in Calgary, Alberta. In that time, Dave taught himself radio production and began writing, voicing and engineering award winning commercials.

But more than anything, Dave loves his Pajamas.

There’s nothing better than slipping out of bed, grabbing a cup of coffee and slipping into the studio. You know… when you still have the gravelly morning voice. That’s when his best work gets done. Seriously… if Dave wasn’t married, he might never anything but Big Fat PJ’s.

Dave left that part of the radio industry to pursue voiceover full time. But Dave also pursued love, and that meant pursuing his wife to the west coast. Not a bad deal. Sweet Lovin’ and temperate climates.

Dave’s studio was set up in short order, complete with ISDN and Source Connect (which is getting better all the time, BTW) on beautiful Vancouver Island. Because if you work from anywhere in the world, why not work in paradise.

Dave is a relative new-comer to the Radio Imaging world, but his voiceover career has spanned almost 2 decades. Dave’s has studied with voiceover coaches like Marice Tobias to learn the art of Radio Imaging and Movie Trailers.

Perfecting the craft.
